Britta

Meeting their new baby sister for the first time.
Proud Daddy!
Here she is, Britta Erickson.  I knew that when I found out my due date that I would have this baby on or be in the hospital on my anniversary which was a week before my due date.  Well the night before I knew she was coming on my anniversary.  I had had contractions all day that night they were more frequent and starting to get more intense.  At midnight I knew for sure she was coming soon so I took a shower and waited.  At about 4am I called my sis in law to come watch the kids.  At 5am my water broke and we headed to the hospital.  She was born about 10am that morning. Everything went well.  She looked just like my other kids did with lots of dark hair.  She was 7 pounds.
Ready to go home.
We are adjusting well to four babies..  I have lots of help.  It's helps that Britta is a great sleeper so far.  She is a dream baby!  The only thing we had any problems with was her name.  Oh we had a hard time trying to name this baby girl.  We had a name that we had been sitting on since Dottie was born.  But it just didn't sit right although we really did like the name.  The Wednesday before she was born I was watching the Olympics.  Women's Swimming to be exact and there was a German swimmer with the name Britta.  It fit all of Jordan's requirements for a name.  So we tossed the two names around until right before we left the hospital.

Proud big brother.  He was not sure about her at first but he slowly warmed up to Britta and now loves her too much.

Interview with Cooper

This is too cute not to post.  I love my little man.  Jordan already put this on facebook but I wanted to blog it too.  And of course we all new that when we named him Cooper he wouldn't be able to pronounce it correctly and his sisters think it's the funniest thing in the world to get him to say his name "Pooper."

We moved!  With Jordan's job transfer the commute was horrible and with the new baby coming we really wanted something bigger so we bought a house.  In Federal Way, WA.  So much closer to things then we were in Yelm.  Although we are really going to miss living in Yelm.  Inside pics will have to come later as it's a complete disaster zone at the moment.
We still have our house in Yelm but we are now landlords.  A week after we moved out we were able to rent it.  Kind of nervous about all of that but hopefully it will all work out for the best.
We are about 10 minutes from Wild Waves.  If your from WA you probably have driven by that a few times.  Jordan has already purchased Seasons passes.

Dottie turned 6!

She got a pogo stick for her birthday this year.
It's becoming a tradition (she asked for it this year)  Candle in a pancake for breakfast.
Opening her prizes with her friends.  She got so spoiled.
 Bug, KK, Dottie and Maddy.
Birthday cupcakes with her two best friends.  She sure is going to miss them when we move.
This year in lieu of a party I told Dottie she could invite two friends and we would go to DQ and get what ever they wanted.  She was totally cool with that.  Her birthday fell on spring break this year so we went to lunch since there was no school.  Then they came over for a play date afterwards.  These 3 girls are in the same class at school too.  They are inseparable and they always get along great.  She really is going to miss them.

Easter

 Easter Morning...
Trying to get some good pictures of the kids...

Silly faces.

Not too much going on for Easter this year.  We had a little egg hunt of our own while my parents were here before Easter.  Then on Easter attended church.  They each got a small basket of goodies and sidewalk chalk (which I have no picture of).  We also had a nice turkey dinner and invited some friends over.

Emma's 2nd grade performance

Emma right in the middle of the picture.
The 2nd graders preformed a hoe down this year.  Emma was so excited and nervous at the same time.  She loves to perform but she had to have a dancing partner and that had to be a boy. HA.. she cracks me up.  She secretly really enjoyed dancing with a boy.  Although she was so nervous he wasn't going to show up and she would have to dance by herself in front of everyone.  He didn't show up for the rehearsal.  But he did show up for the performance and it all worked out just fine.

Emma's baptism

At the beginning of the month Emma chose to be baptized.  We are so proud of her choices.  She is a great big sister and a very good example to our family.
Jordan was able to baptize her.
Not a great family photo afterwards... but we tried.
Since Cooper wouldn't smile we decided to all give our Cooper face.
After the baptism we had a little celebration with all the family that came to support Emma.  Also it was Grandma Erickson's 60th birthday so we had lots to celebrate.
Emma and her new scripture bag.
I am not sure Grandma even got Cooper to look at her while he was eating his chocolate cake.  He is such a stinker sometimes.
