Random June

To start with the girls just thought I was the coolest mom ever to make this lunch! An Octopus hot dog! If only I would have known maybe I would have done it sooner!

My Husband finally got his arcade in the house. He has been working on this thing probably over a year now. And with all the reorganizing we have been doing and getting rid of things there was finally room. I tried to keep it in the garage as long as possible. It looks like a lovely thing to sleep next to doesn't it!

Happy Father's Day to Jordan. We also made him breakfast and this is at dinner. Emma made him the crown!

And finally we said good bye to our little blue truck last night! I am not sad about this one! It just sat in front of our house not doing much!
Isn't this lovely!

Trip to the Oregon Zoo

Leah, Dottie and Emma checking out the bears!
Picture moment...
Acting like birds in a big bird nest!
Posing with the birds... Dottie thinks tilting her head will make her look cuter or something!
And the hippo's!
We haven't been to the Oregon zoo in a long time and on a whim we decided to just do it. We had a great time with the girls and Jordan's mom and little sister! But how come when we go to the zoo all the animals seem to be sleeping or just not around!!! Luckily we went to check out the polar bears again before we left cause the first time they were no where to be found but I guess they decided to come out and play. Emma was pretty cute about the whole thing, before we left the house grandma gave her a small notebook and told her to draw pictures of all the animals she saw! She drew every animal..(if you click on some of the pics to get a closer look you will see the notebook in her hand)

First Camping trip as a family

Our Stake camping trip was coming up and Jordan said.."we are going!" The Friday before memorial day we headed up to Zion's Camp up near Belfair (it's church owned). We got there and it wasn't our stakes turn (mix up on the stake calendar).. oh well they gave us a campsite anyways along with a couple other people from our ward. We had a great time.
Here we go the first night!
I would say it was a success.. the girls loved it. They were so happy!
And the collection of pinecones!

The next morning Jordan took the girls down to the lake and went on some boat rides!

They switched to a canoe half way thru!
They had a little play ground with swings and a club house and this thing.. not sure what it's called but we all had fun chasing each other on it trying to keep our balance and not fall off.
They both had fun on the rope swing...

pics

Here are some ultra sound pictures of our little boy! They aren't the best ultra sound pictures I have seen but they work. The first one is actually kind of freaky looking.. just looking at the face straight on. And the profile pic he does have his hand up by his face.

The countdown begins!

I hit 20 weeks today! So it's all downhill from here! RIGHT? Well at least I can start counting down the days now! I have never really been big pregnant during the summer so this will be a new experience for me. Hopefully it will help me keep active and feel good! They say the baby is the size of a banana from head to rump! kind of puts it into perspective!

Rhymes with TOY!

Did you guess??? We are having a BOY!!!! We had the ultra sound today! Everything looks great and healthy! Emma was very excited to find out it was a boy, the technician had her read it out loud when she wrote it on the monitor. Of course Jordan and I could already see the picture and already new what it was... Dottie was a little upset because she was the only one who wanted a baby sister! But I think she has warmed up to the idea of a brother already! Now we just have to decide on a name.. that's going to be a tough one!
