Fun Weekend

Last Thursday we packed our swimming suits and headed to the Great Wolf Lodge! We stayed one night and two days at the water park. The girls LOVED it. I am so glad they weren't afraid of anything. We couldn't keep them off of the slides. Dottie was to short to go on the really big ones or else she would have gone down those too. Jordan said every time Emma went down the BIG ones she would yell "This is so awesome!" Jordan had a pretty good time too! He loved that his girls like that kind of stuff. I took my turn on a few slides too! Definitely a fun play for families.

New Nephew

Welcome to the family Leif Christian Jensen. He was born to my sister and her husband. We are excited to have another boy in the family! He was born April 19th.. 3 weeks early! Congrats Amy, Andy and Callie!

New Haircut

I got a new haircut last week! It's probably the shortest I have ever gone but I wanted something short for summer! Now I just need to learn how to style it better!

Happy 3rd Birthday Dottie

Today my baby turns 3 years old. And she has ran this house for the last 3 years! She came to us at a very crazy time in our lives but we survived!

Showing off her new Glasses

She loves them! Emma has been having some problems with her eyes so we took her to the eye doctor. Yes, she needed glasses.. not only that she needed bifocals! Hopefully she wont have to wear the bifocals for to long.. There is a long list of problems with her eyes.. but she does have a lazy eye as well. Hopefully it will all be corrected to a point she won't have to wear them all the time.

She wanted the bright red glasses with the diamonds on the side. Sadly they were to small for her! darn!

Looks like we should have invested in some anti-glare glasses.. oh well.. next time!

not sure we are ready...

for this but here we go again! We are expecting baby #3 this october.

I went in today and heard the heartbeat and everything looked good. Jordan keeps telling me it's twins.. (twins run in both sides of our families) I told him today it was only one heart beat. He then proceeds to tell me that he was talking to a guy from work who has twins and they didn't know until the ultra sound because the one baby was behind the other and they never picked it up before then. Thank you Jordan!
I am pretty sure it's just one baby in there!
So everything has been good except the nausea which is to be expected and I have not had any problems falling asleep at night.. I am just so tired!
The girls are really excited. Emma didn't believe us until Grandma told her (I guess if grandma says it, it must be true) They of course both want a brother. It's kind of exciting this time because Emma is really into it. She is always asking how big the baby is and wants to know everything. I think the next appt. I will take the girls so they can hear the heartbeat too!

We finally caught it!

the CHICKEN POX or at least thats what my girls are trying to tell me they have!

I just got them out of the bath tonight and was gonna take a quick shower myself and so I put on Max and Ruby for them to watch. I choose the wrong Max and Ruby! This episode Max got the chicken pox!!! So when I got out of the shower the girls were so excited to tell me they had the chicken pox too!
It is a washable marker and Emma's came off pretty east but that blue marker on Dottie has stained her face! uggggg!
