Emma's 2nd grade performance

Emma right in the middle of the picture.
The 2nd graders preformed a hoe down this year.  Emma was so excited and nervous at the same time.  She loves to perform but she had to have a dancing partner and that had to be a boy. HA.. she cracks me up.  She secretly really enjoyed dancing with a boy.  Although she was so nervous he wasn't going to show up and she would have to dance by herself in front of everyone.  He didn't show up for the rehearsal.  But he did show up for the performance and it all worked out just fine.

Emma's baptism

At the beginning of the month Emma chose to be baptized.  We are so proud of her choices.  She is a great big sister and a very good example to our family.
Jordan was able to baptize her.
Not a great family photo afterwards... but we tried.
Since Cooper wouldn't smile we decided to all give our Cooper face.
After the baptism we had a little celebration with all the family that came to support Emma.  Also it was Grandma Erickson's 60th birthday so we had lots to celebrate.
Emma and her new scripture bag.
I am not sure Grandma even got Cooper to look at her while he was eating his chocolate cake.  He is such a stinker sometimes.

Comments

Apparently I deleted like the last 100 comments on my blog.  Not sure how I did that.  So if you notice your comment deleted it's not because I did it on purpose. Sorry.  I do enjoy getting comments.

Ski Season

At the end of the ski season last year Jordan took the girls up for an introductory ski lesson. They both loved it so this year we decided to put them in an all day lesson. The picked it right up.

Lesson at Snoqualmie. Dottie in the pink hat.

Jordan took them up night skiing this year as part of the Boeing night out, but didn't get any pictures. They learned how to ride the lift and ski down on their own. They enjoyed it, but night skiing was a little cold/scary for them. I think we may wait a while before they do that again.

The girls really took to skiing after heading up to Crystal Mountain. Jordan took them up there with Uncle Nolan and Uncle Aaron.
The main lift that had most of the green (easiest) runs was closed so they had to ride up one of the other lifts. The girls rode that a few times, and while it took them a little while to get down they did great. The great thing was that the beginning of that run was a blue square (medium). Luckily it was at the top of the run so all they had to do was make a few turns before they could zip down the run.

On top of Crystal.

Emma's 8th Birthday

Happy Birthday to my Emma girl!  Love her so much.  This year we decided to go to the gymnastics center in town.  Both girls are taking gymnastics there currently and they love it.

Dottie had to wear this tutu..

Emma with her friends Molly and Kaylee.
The whole group.  Glad we did it here couldn't imagine having all these kids in my house at one time.

Emma had a great Birthday.  She asked for roller blades this year and she also got her ears pierced which I think she was most excited about.  She did great! She was really nervous but when it was all done she was giggling with happiness.

Girls Dance clinic

The girls took a week long Jazz line clinic at the High School.  At the end they preform their routines during half time of a basketball game.  This was Dottie's first time doing it.  They both did great.  I just wish they would have chosen a better song for Dottie's group.
Emma is in the back left.  I am hoping to load up the videos we will see if that works or not.

January Snow

Cooper just liked to throw snowballs.
These were before we got the big snow  but we have a decent hill right across the street.  The kids enjoy it.
Cooper taken his turn on the sled.  He did not like it.
