some recent projects

The "Tie Onesie" I wanted to buy one of these on Etsy. But I realized I had all the stuff to make one... So here you have it. It turned out alright. I would rather have done stripes or argyle or something, But didn't have any of that kind of fabric. If you are interested click HERE for the tutorial.

I am a little bias but pretty sure he was the cutest little boy at church today!

Temple block- While looking for things to do for Super Saturday projects I came across these. Loved them. So I bought some and made a few. I also ended up teaching this class yesterday at our Super Saturday. And if you are interested in this one click HERE to buy the kit.

So the ones I ordered are cropped and zoomed in better and "enhanced" as they called it with softer edges. He did so great getting his pictures taken. I was so worried because you never know how a 6 week old is going to behave. But he did great. And I think they turned out really well.. so of course I spent way more money then I should have.

I think Cooper looks a little more like Emma than Dottie but they all have similar features.

baby ticker

I guess it's time to take the baby ticker off!
Today was the day (Oct. 8th)... don't know if I could have made it to today. So glad he came 11 days early!
We are slowly adjusting to a new baby around here. Dottie has had some (need more mommy time) issues! But she is doing better. And I am doing fine.. just very tired and very emotional. But I guess that is pretty normal with a new baby!


We are glad Grandma Erickson could come up for a quick visit!
