To start off the month we finally got to go to the annual Christmas parade in town. For the last 2 years Jordan has always had school but not this year. It was a perfect morning. It was cold but the sun was shining so we bundled up and rode our bikes down to the main street in town.

We were lucky enough to get to stand next to Elvis too!!!

Emma thought these were pretty cool so she wanted me to make them for her snack at school the next day! It was her day to bring in snack! And a bag of carrots it wasn't all sugar!

Later that week we had a visitor from the North pole! I wasn't sure how this was going to work since my girls are really not into the whole Santa thing. Well they just like to look at him from afar! Once they saw him they started running into their bedrooms! HA.. we got them out and they finally warmed up to him and Emma sat on his lap and she even got a prize.. once Dottie saw their was a prize involved when it was her turn she ran and jumped into his lap! To prepare for this we did take them to the mall to see Santa but that was very uneventful. Then I took them to the kids party at church where Emma was brave and sat on his lap but Dottie didn't even want to stand in line. But after seeing all these santa's, Emma made the comment.. "so mom those were just all pretend Santa's weren't they" I said what do you mean that was Santa" then she said " but mom the one at the mall didn't have glasses and the one at the church did and the one at our house didn't." I said "well you know how sometimes you see mommy wearing glasses and sometimes I don't, the same with Santa" She agreed but I can tell she is still not sold on that idea!
