I am a little late on the Halloween pics but here they are!!! Emma was princess Analise from the Barbie movie! And Dottie is Cinderella! It was a very foggy night and Emma was already freaked out that she wouldnt go up to most of the houses that had anything scary about them.. Dottie on the other hand was like.. where do I go for candy! They would put the candy in her bucket and she would turn around pull it back out and yell "mom look what I got" at every single house!

To Tip or Not To Tip!

Or the question might be how much tip to leave?
Ok..how much tip do you leave a hairdresser??? I always think about this and never ask any body and then I go get my hair done and it come time to pay... what do I do? I always feel I need to leave a tip but how much? It usually cost about $100 every time I go. Do I tip like I would in a restaurant? Thats another $20 and I am already having a hard time paying the $100.
So I have usually just gone with $5.. (don't laugh if you think that's cheap) But I see it as I am already paying $100 for a custom job anyways.. for an hour and a half. Now I am not a hair dresser but I am thinking that the dye and the foils don't cost that much!
Wikipedia says "For a haircut or salon service, it is customary to tip the barber or stylist 10% to 20%."
Anyways.. How much tip do you leave your hairdresser? I am very curious..

My $.02

My cousin sent me this link the other day and I thought it was pretty funny, but kind of scary. This is so much like American politics, where most voters have no idea what the candidates stand for. It almost makes me want to have voters take a basic IQ or political knowledge test before they're given a ballot.
I also find it ridiculous when people call major political candidates names like "idiot" or "retard". Sure these people may have a different ideology than you, but have a little respect for your elected (or soon to be) leaders.
To think that someone who's running for President or VP from a major political party isn't very smart or intelligent, just shows a lack of class on their part. I know I'm not a big fan of either Presidential candidate, but I don't think that they're stupid. I know I've never been a Senator or Governor.

Pumpkin time!

It's that time of year again!! and we made our trip to Lattin's Country Cider Mill and Farm. The pumpkins weren't so good this year but the home made apple fritters can't be beat! Plus the kids like seeing all the animals that they have there as well!

Potty Talk

Dottie: Mom I'm pooping
Me: You are? Do you want to poop in the toilet?
Dottie: No
Me: How come?
Dottie: Because I don't want to
Me: Emma poops in the toilet
Dottie: She does?
Me: Yes, Do you want to try it too?
Dottie: No
Me: Big girls poop in the toilet
Dottie: Oh, I'm a little girl
Me: You are? So are you going to try to poop in the toilet or not?
Dottie: No
Me: How come?
Dottie: Because I don't want to Mom!!


She really has no desire to use the toilet at all! One of these days she is going to be mad at me but I am just going to take the diaper away for good and go cold turkey!
