My $.02

My cousin sent me this link the other day and I thought it was pretty funny, but kind of scary. This is so much like American politics, where most voters have no idea what the candidates stand for. It almost makes me want to have voters take a basic IQ or political knowledge test before they're given a ballot.
I also find it ridiculous when people call major political candidates names like "idiot" or "retard". Sure these people may have a different ideology than you, but have a little respect for your elected (or soon to be) leaders.
To think that someone who's running for President or VP from a major political party isn't very smart or intelligent, just shows a lack of class on their part. I know I'm not a big fan of either Presidential candidate, but I don't think that they're stupid. I know I've never been a Senator or Governor.

Pumpkin time!

It's that time of year again!! and we made our trip to Lattin's Country Cider Mill and Farm. The pumpkins weren't so good this year but the home made apple fritters can't be beat! Plus the kids like seeing all the animals that they have there as well!

Potty Talk

Dottie: Mom I'm pooping
Me: You are? Do you want to poop in the toilet?
Dottie: No
Me: How come?
Dottie: Because I don't want to
Me: Emma poops in the toilet
Dottie: She does?
Me: Yes, Do you want to try it too?
Dottie: No
Me: Big girls poop in the toilet
Dottie: Oh, I'm a little girl
Me: You are? So are you going to try to poop in the toilet or not?
Dottie: No
Me: How come?
Dottie: Because I don't want to Mom!!


She really has no desire to use the toilet at all! One of these days she is going to be mad at me but I am just going to take the diaper away for good and go cold turkey!

Congratulations Jordan!

He did it!!!! Jordan graduated Saturday night at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, with a Masters of Science in Technical Management. He graduated "Distinguished", which means for a Masters degree that he got a 4.0. He worked really hard at it and definitely deserved to be "distinguished".

Good Bye , Friend

Well we parted with our Accord today.. bitter sweet moment for us! She was the first car we had as a married couple! She made it through hard times with us. She drove us all the way to Florida and back! We are moving on! We put her on Craigslist today in AS IS condition (wouldn't start) And sold her 5 hours later (maybe we should have charged more..hmm we just needed to get rid of her). It actually worked out perfectly. The guy had been looking for a car and was just about to drive to tacoma (he lives in Yelm and couldn't find anything around here) to go look at another one and decided to check craigslist one more time. I had just posted it. I guess he works on cars, cause when he came to take a look he pulled out all his tools and gloves and went to town just to make sure the engine was good, which it was. Anyways.. here's to you Honda Accord (to bad we didn't have a better name for her) Maybe we will see you around town sometime!

I am sure our neighbors are hating us.. we are beginning to look like a used car lot over here.. we are the proud owners of now a fourth car! ( and a motorcycle!) Last weekend our truck broke down (jordan replaced a few belts and she's up and working again) then 2 days later our accord broke down. Nothing we haven't been expecting. We were just hoping to get a few more months out of the car!(it's pretty old) We researched and found this '04 Hyundai sonata! It's pretty much exactly what Jordan wanted and in our price range.. so we were happy! Here are the girls posing by their dad's new car! Hopefully by the end of the month we won't look like a used car lot.
