Day 10.. last day I promise plymouth MA, and cape cod
Our last day.. we went to Plymouth Massachusetts.
The Mayflower in the background.. a replica of course.
Yip that's it... Plymouth rock. Yes it is that small.
Then we went to see how the pilgrims would have lived at the time they came to America.
This is a picture of the very end point of cape cod. Provincetown, MA
Day 9 Salem MA
We decided to go to Salem on our way back to my sister house. I didn't even think about it until we got there and saw how busy it was but of course it was the first week of October. There were witches everywhere.. it was actually very cool. Above you can see where to get your custom wand made!
Down town they mush have been having a festival or something lots of decorations and people.

Witches house
Couldn't quite get my head in there.. I had a baby on the front of me.
We went to a reenactment of a trial of Bridget Bishop
Also while we were there I had my first lobster roll. I am not a big fan of fish especially anything with a shell but this was pretty good.

Day 8 Vermont and New Hampshire
We started out this day in Vermont. We went to a sugar house. It was probably the highlight of my trip. This little place was awesome. We learned all the ins and outs of making maple syrup. They had maple everything there. This guy did it all by himself too to make sure it was done right. Pure Vermont maple syrup is delicious.
Next we drove through New Hampshire and went into the white mountains. Again we hit the best time of year when the leaves were changing. So pretty. First we went to the New England Ski Museum and rode the gondola up the mountain. Second we went to Mt. Washington where we drove to the top. That is a picture of Jordan at the top. To cold and windy for me to get out with the baby. The pictures below are at the bottom of the mountain.
And of course we had to stop and get a picture of a covered bridge.

Day 7 Vermont
The next day we drove through upstate New York and headed to Vermont. Seriously it was so beautiful.
We stopped in Sharon Vermont. The birthplace of Joseph Smith. He only lived here for four years but I think the most interesting thing about this place was the monument. The monument stands 50 feet tall and weighs approximately 100 tons. How they got it there in 1905 is crazy.

After we that we headed to Waterbury, VT and did the Ben and Jerry's factory tour. That was pretty cool too.
Another scenery shot.. isn't it amazing.

Day 5 NYC
Our last day in NYC we hit up Central Park. Does this bridge look familiar?
To bad it was over cast but it made for some interesting pictures.
Callie inside a bubble at Central Park.
Then we headed over to find the NYC temple. Very interesting to see the angel Moroni amid all the tall buildings and the hustle and bustle of the city.
After that we went to Grand Central Station.
And of course we too a break for some awesome gelato.
NYU
This was a real life bird man. I wish we got a close up. He was covered in bird poop and surrounded by birds. He looked deathly.
