The Ride at The Pumpkin Patch
Jordan thinks that Grandpa Erickson should make one of these for the grand kids. What do you think?
Pumpkin Carving
The girls designed their own pumpkin faces. They needed a bit of help carving and well Cooper just got a pumpkin with no face.
And here is the finished product. Jordan did two this year. The Witch Face and the scary skeleton body one. I did Frankenstein. I think they turned out pretty cute!
Love my family!
My handsome boy!

Pumpkin Patch
I have no idea why these loaded side ways... uggg.... they are right side up in my folder but load up sideways... Anyways.. we visited "The Pumpkin Patch" in Centraila this last weekend. They had lots of these signs to take pictures with.
We loved this little pumpkin patch. Lots of pumpkins and not a lot of people for a Saturday afternoon.
The girls wanted to go on this ride so bad. I was hesitant, well because of the MUD! They won. The driver of this contraption was having a ball driving these kids around and getting them splashed with mud.
Love my Cooper boy. He is so cute. Love his cheesy smile.
Added this last pic because Jordan and I got a kick out of it. When we got home from the pumpkin patch we saw this on our door step. Hilarious. Dottie's friend KK left two fruit by the foots for the girls. "From KK, Kamron, Bug. Dottie eat them." Kk lives just a couple of houses down and comes over to play with Dottie when ever she gets the chance. They are also in the same kindergarten class.

Cooper turns 2
The Birthday Cake! This was my first fondant cake. I made the fondant myself too. It was a lot of work. Not totally sure it was worth it. But I am happy with how it turned out.
I wasn't sure how he would react to the candles.
He was fine with them and look he even blew out his candles.
Say Cheese Cooper! Happy Birthday! He is so handsome.
Emma eating cake and ice cream with uncle Nolan.

Opening his Birthday prizes. He was such a happy boy.
He loves his hot wheels.
First Day of School
Emma's first day of school. 2nd grade.
Posing with their brother.
Dottie's first day of school. Kindergarten.
My beautiful girls.
On the bus they go. Dottie had a great first day. I was a little worried since she never had any preschool and here they go all day for kindergarten. When she got off the bus that first day the first thing that came out of her mouth was, "That was the best day of my entire life!" She actually screamed it at me. And it's been the that way ever since. So happy she likes it.
"Look we got scissors!" Her friend Joe was sitting next to her so I am sure that helped. He is from church and they were on the same soccer team.
More Summer Fun
At the beginning of August (our Anniversary to be exact) We decided to take the family on a little hike in Olympia.
We had a good time. The kids of course LOVED it.
Cooper hanging in the back pack... He didn't like it at first but he got used to it.

Next we had bought a groupon for a train ride and needed to use it before it expired. We took a ride on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad! It was fun to see the old steam train and Cooper loved when the whistle blew...
I promise Emma did enjoy it although she doesn't really look like she does in this picture.
Later we got to have our cousins come for a couple of days to play. Boman and Ivy came to see us while Jordan and his family went to Utah for his brother's wedding.

We had a great time with them.
Dottie and Boman are the exact same age. They are the best of friends.
For some reason Cooper thinks he needs to turn his head for pictures so Boman joined in too.
Quick smile while I take your picture. HA....
We sure are glad they got to come visit us for a couple of days.
