Well we recently just returned from a Truman Family Reunion on my side. It was down in Southern Utah (st. George) Yes we made the drive! It actually wasn't that bad with a 3 and 1 year old. Movies and food were life savers! We left on Father's day and headed to Nampa, ID where we stayed with Jordan's older brother Nate and his family. Oh wait we can't forget about Nolan... We also had Jordan's little brother "Chuck" in the car with us! From Nampa we headed to Provo to stay with Jordan's sister Camille and to also drop off Nolan. Then the next day we headed down to st. George. We had a lot of fun.
Wednesday night we met up with all the family and went to see the dinosaur tracks. Emma loved it! she has been telling everyone that she saw dinosaur feet and poop! Yes poop! Then we headed over to the Blue bunny for banana splits! It was the biggest banana split I have ever had! Then we did a little tour of some historical site down town st. George. Then of course we headed to the pool at the hotel!
Thursday we met all the family up in Pine valley for a BBQ picnic. We all chatted played games. My uncle Brad brought up the "quads" So we went for a little ride. That was Jordan's favorite part I think! We spend most of the day up in Pine Valley it was very relaxing!
Friday morning was the golf tournament. Jordan who doesn't play much golf ended up on the winning team! Lucky him! Then it was a relaxing day at the pool before we went to Grandpa and Grandma Truman's 60th wedding anniversary party that night! We had a fun time sharing many memories with everybody.
Saturday we woke up early drove to Provo picked up Nolan and then headed to Nate's house in Nampa again... Yes very long drive but we made it. Sunday we woke up stopped by Battle Ground and dropped off Nolan visited with family (Jordan's cousin Bevan and his family were also in town) then we headed home! I was glad to be home. It was a fun trip though.
Well with all that said.. I have no pictures!!! HA.. Jordan and I forgot and never took the camera out of the car! I know... I guess we were having too much fun. So hopefully I can get some of my family to send me some pictures and maybe I will have some to post later.
