Memorial Weekend

We hope every one had a good weekend, we sure did! Some friends of ours invited us out to there lake house! Emma had a great time fishing, she even caught her first fish but then when she got it up to the boat she thought it was going to get her so she hid from it!! Emma loved going fishing with her friend Lia.

We also got to go out to the beach one day. It was a bit cold and windy at first but then the clouds opened and the sun started shining and Emma and Jordan had a great time hanging out with our friends. Dottie and I headed back to the car just a bit to windy for her!

Emma's Aunt Leah came over to visit one day we had so much fun! Emma loves it when somebody comes to visit!

Jordan's Birthday

Well this post is a little late considering that Jordan's Birthday was almost two weeks ago! Oh well, Jordan had a great 27th birthday! I think Emma was more excited about it than Jordan. She helped me make his birthday cake (a luscious lemon mousse cake) She worked very hard on making him a birthday card and as soon as he walked in the door from work she yelled Happy Birthday Daddy! And ever since then she has wanted to do that same thing every day! I haven't let her make another cake but she has made him plenty of Birthday cards!

Day at the Zoo...

On Monday the weather was sooo nice that we all went to the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma, WA. It was so fun! Emma loves seeing all the animals and Dottie just loved walking around. We got to see a Beluga whale show and see him do all his tricks and then we saw a bird show in there little theater area! So we had to get some pictures. Emma wasn't sure what to do for the pic look at the bird or look at the camera. HA.. It was a nice sunny day about 70 degrees I think. That is the puget sound in the background!

Daddy also took them to see inside a sharks mouth..Do you think Dottie liked it? HA..

Fun time with cousins!

So today Melia came over to visit and we had soooo much fun. Well Emma had the most fun.



They played tea party and painted flowers and rocks and blew bubbles out side.
We love having Melia come to visit she is so much fun!
